    I would say best results would be to use 8I and down. I personally only chip and pitch with lob and sand wedges. I just de-loft them as needed and that is just a personal choice…

    Weight on your left leg, ball back in your stance, shallow attack, and the key to this shot for me is to make sure the heal beats the toe of the club…

    That being said, ball choice (easier with a softer 3 piece ball) and green conditions (easier if you are hitting into a slope or into the grain) are a big part in the success of this shot.

    I’ve been having some success when attempting to hit down on the ball on the way down, are you trying to say don’t worry what the wrists are doing, as long as the momentum is going forward you can get as handsy as you like? regards.
