    Shawn,
Why is it i only shank on my short chip shots never on a full swing?
( By the way thanks your great golfing dvd`s i would advise anyone to buy them!)

  2. aledosam Said,

I am still having truble changing from the stack and tilt method to yours. The take away starts with hands or feet,im really confused.I thought i had it ,but im hooking it now and i dont understand what i did ti do this.

  3. kyle9268 Said,

Was that a cameo of your daughter ?? They grow up so fast don’t they. Thanks again for all the help.

  4. Timbiewoo Said,

Shawn, I’ve been looking at your stuff on youtube for a long time and just have to say thanks for what you do. I have a miss hit that I call a shank, but I don’t know if it’s really a shank. It’s usually with long irons from the fairway and the ball does go zipping to the right(i’m righty). It feels like the club face is wide open. And then panic sets in. If this shows up in my round I go from high 70’s to mid 80’s. same anti shank principles apply here?

  5. perfettc Said,

Thanks Shawn. That is some great stuff. It’s like your clips are always about subjects that I happen to be working on at that specific moment. Still have to book that lesson. Will be in touch. For all of you that are in the GTA vicinity or are in Toronto from out of town, I highly recommend taking a lesson from Shawn.

  6. magicaljaso Said,

This is really, really great teaching. People have been talking about “staying behind the ball” since the dawn of golfing time but no-one that I have come across has managed to explain it with such simplicity. These videos are the most extraordinary freeware resource for all levels of golfers. You are truly to be thanked for sharing all this information with us Shawn – you’re making the game so enjoyable for me; I only hope some PGA pros don’t get to you too soon and take you away from us all!!

  7. preachaboy77712 Said,

Such a timely lesson…I will have to go back to you “One-legged Swing video” to fix this issue for me. Head stability is what I have been trying to work on…thanks a million Shawn!

  8. JRCrowley Said,

Good stuff man! Thanks. You’ve got a great teaching style.

  9. crossey83 Said,

Lee Westwood’s left elbow breaks down, and he is one of the straightest hitters around

  10. mattlaw17 Said,

This for me is probably the most important aspect of bringing all of shawns teachings together. Keeping your head steady on the downswing is quite difficult especially after watching the weight shift videos. Once you get it though you wont believe the shots you can hit.

  11. Byrd819 Said,

Wish I would have seen all your videos sooner they are great. Keep up the excellent work.

  12. DrewCdrummer24 Said,

what kind of irons are you using, i believe i have them, they look like ping s58’s? or am i mistaken?

  13. clemshaw Said,

Thanks for the comment! Actually, it is a very important component of the golf swing and is very easy to time as it is a necessary anatomical part of a good swing that swivels out of the way of the arms; see “golf pro lesson head bobbing” video for more info! Shawn

  14. tigerswede3 Said,

This guy has great technical information and good drills. He has a lot of bounciness up and down during his swing. I’m sure that can be hard to time.

  15. Michael10659 Said,

Great Vid as always….and I concur about the red shirt guy…lol.
    Thanks Shawn, you’re the best!

  16. clemshaw Said,

You are right about that! :)

  17. t3n0r2009 Said,

great video, as always. I think the guy in the red shirt needs to watch some of your videos. lol.

  18. clemshaw Said,

Too busy and having too much fun with students both from out of town and locally…:) Glad you are having a good season and thanks for the tip in your comment; I will study it more in detail tomorrow…but I know what you mean and I concur as it is a solid anatomically correct position; all the best in your next event! Hope you get more sun than us too! Shawn

  19. screamingeagletim Said,

Shawn, definitely good advice about the head. One thing that have noticed in my practice and competition is that if I keep my left elbow down throughout the swing and my head back as the body clears it really helps with consistent flush contact on everyclub. Good to see you back with a vid. My Mini-tour season is going good. Finished in the money last week, Cancelled this week. You not at Glenn Abbey this week?

  20. booncome Said,

    Thanks for posting.
