PurePoint Golf Video Lessons – Don’t Only Use One Club when Chipping
Posted under Bobby Eldridge by PeteAre you the type of person that only uses several different swings and your sand wedge to chip shots? This is an interesting little video article from Bobby Eldridge head pro of PurePointGolf.com that explains why it will work better to use one swing with more clubs!

Thanks Logan, what a great tip. I’m a beginner and always thought the pitching club was what should be used, never thought to use another club. I’ll definitely try that.
do pros use this method as well? Should I use this method to get by until I pick up the actually technique?
I agree with Logan. My chipping has improve after I used my 5,7,8,9 iron and not only my sand wedge. I minimized my error since then. just practice how to control the distance with each club you use and you’ll be ok. practice practice practice. Thanks for the tip…
Take this advise with caution.
The reason why wedges have high pitches is because you have more control over where on the green the ball stops with a higher degree chip.
Using an iron lowers the pitch, and increases the roll as the ball lands. More roll = less control over where the ball stops on the green. Your choice.
lol yeah this guy’s helped me with my draw shots it’s unbelievable
these videos are great and well put across, but the best part has to be “and have a great day”, that cracks me up. good man.
