PurePoint Golf Video Lessons – Topping / Skulling the Golf Ball and How to Fix it
Posted under Bobby Eldridge by PeteQuick tips on how to stop skulling the ball in your short game from Bobby Eldridge – head pro for PurePointGolf.com. Helped me in my short game – I used to CONSTANTLY skull the ball and watch it roll 50 feet past the pin!

i think this is a great video. No clue why this guy wants to generate back spin on a chip shot. All your videos are excellent and very helpful. Thanks!
easy
there is no way to gauge a chip shot with no follow through. you dont dig your club into the ground that’s how you skull it
You are not trying to create backspin when you chip. The chip is a shot with 1/3 air and 2/3 roll. To chip a ball with distance control you want the golf ball to roll like a putt once it hits the green.
i think thats pretty poor. You should always try to follow through on chip shots, thats how to generate nice back spin.
you’re welcome
